In the process of hot-melt connection, the hot-melt butt joint is a method that the ends of thermoplastic pipes are heated and fused by heating plates, and then connected together by cooling and fixing. Hot melt butt joint is the most important and traditional connection method for polypropylene pipe of polyethylene pipe. It is generally considered that the hot-melt butt joint is suitable for the connection of pipes with diameter over dn63mm or wall thickness over 6mm.
